10 CM

10cm restaurant is a rethinking of relationship between human, dining table and water.

What if that one moment in a year we celebrate the flooding of the Seine instead of fearing it?

What if water becomes part of the slab to enclose a restaurant?

What if we hear the sound of wave while enjoying French Cuisine?

Cantilevering the building over the Seine by 6 meters;

setting sliding doors between river bank;

dropping the riverfront curtain wall by 10 cm;

hanging the dining table to the ceiling;

letting the people in,

letting the water in.
