其中心区域及层叠的外围被设想为阿拉伯-伊斯兰文化传统与现实日常生活交织而成的并置体。

In this project, we explore the significance of an Arab modern art museum by designing a pathway that evokes a sense of ritual for visitors.

The central area and its layered peripheries are envisioned as a juxtaposition of intertwined intangible Arab-Islamic cultural traditions and the realities of everyday life.

'Museum of Unlimited Growth,' 1931 “Let us imagine a true museum, one that contained everything, one that could present a complete picture after the passage of time, after the destruction by time (and how well it knows how to destroy! So well, so completely, that almost nothing remains except objects of great show, of great vanity, of great fancy).”

仪式：一种宗教或庄重的典礼，由按照既定顺序进行的一系列动作组成。

Ritual: a religious or solemn ceremony consisting of a series of actions performed according to a prescribed order.

这一概念也具有隐喻性的意义，即阿拉伯现代艺术博物馆是一个闪耀的象征，连接了沙迦的记忆过去与现在。这一简单而有力的设计摆脱了将伊斯兰文化遗产迁移到精英化现代建筑语言中的单调乏味，避免仅仅呈现一个贴标签的沙迦或阿联酋整体形象。

The concept is also a metaphorical gesture, positioning the Arab modern art museum as a shining emblem that bridges the past and present of Sharjah’s collective memory. This simple yet powerful approach deviates from the monotony of translating Islamic cultural heritage into an elite modern architectural language, which often only provides a superficial, labeled image of Sharjah or the UAE as a whole.
