The pavilion is located in the courtyard of a villa in Nanjing. The challenge is to find a balance between independence and integration, style, and functionality, to see and be seen for the pavilion in a compact environment.

REFERENCE


The facade motif of the pavilion is borrowed from the baluster on the back wall of the courtyard. We try to make use of this unavoidable visual noise on the site.
