The project aims to explore, interpret, and design a church suited to the modern era, with a focus on establishing a connection between religion and local culture in a country that is relatively unfamiliar with Christianity.

Blessed city Jerusalem, called 'vision of peace', which is constructed in heaven from living stones and, circled by angles, as a bride descends (to earth)"
--Urbs beata Jerusalem

"The Church is favored, the dwelling place of God on earth: a temple built of living stones, founded on the apostles with Jesus Christ its cornerstone."
--Prayer of the dedication

The cathedral seeks to help people comprehend the heavenly kingdom through complete unity with God. It is a revelation where the image of the kingdom can be partially and spiritually perceived.

The stones serve as a visual metaphor, symbolizing the unity of the church—where every individual is an inseparable part of the whole. In the design, the structure is based on a fundamental triangular module, representing both the stones and the Holy Trinity.

The Creation of Uncreated Light — There are three methods of introducing light: sunlight entering from the bottom, soft light filtering through translucent shields, and transcendental light pouring through the gap at the top. By implementing curtains, the overall light will become gentle and soft, reducing the shadows cast by the structure, ensuring the view of the congregation is not obstructed. At the same time, the interior will not be too dim for reading. At the far end of the building, a beam of light streaming through the gap and following the decorative banners will illuminate the altar and the reredos behind it, highlighting the focal point of the space.
